Today, we're releasing a big update to Composite. It brings along a number of new features along with a brand new look, updated for your iOS 7 devices!

The main feature of the release is fixed elements, which let you create even more realistic looking prototypes than before. It allows you define layer groups, for instance a navigation bar, to stay fixed to the viewport, while the rest of the document is scrolling. For any layer you want to remain fixed, you simply add !fixed to the name of a layer, or a layer group. Composite will determine whether to anchor the layer to the top of the screen, or the bottom, based on the layers position on the canvas.

We've also included a few new transitions, such as fade and sliding sideways. In addition, to go with the flip transition that's already supported, there are now three extra directions for flipping.

This makes the new list of transitions:

We're now jumping right onto making Composite even better, and also bringing it to new devices, as we're tweaking it for usage on iPad.

Stay tuned!
